LAPTOPS NOW IN THE COMPUTER LABS
The laptops have been installed in the computer labs.
Check them out. They are for any resident to use and can be wireless or cabled.
The operating system is VISTA and students taking classes in the MCLs should
have priority during the computer college terms. Enjoy and if you are new
to Vista, by all means familiarize yourself and take some classes when offered.

OF THE MOBILE COMPUTER LAB(S) MCL
The Mobile Computer Lab (MCL) was used for Computer
College classes starting with the Fall Term 2007. The goal of having a
second MCL has finally been realized. We now have a second cart and
enough computers so there will be a MCL both at the Woodlands and on the Island
starting with the Fall Term. This will greatly facilitate the scheduling
of classes. In addition, the CCSC will take over the maintenance of the
computers of the MCL from the Shell Point IS department.

COLLEGE SUMMER TERM
The Summer Term classes will start on May 1st.
The brochure has been prepared. Watch for the next issue of e-Notes which
will have a summary of all the classes.

OF THE COMPUTER CLUB MEETING
The next meeting of the Computer Club will be Thursday,
